Hey, I'm Kuli Daroch, but most people know me as KD!

I'm a Birmingham-based creative, a little bit of a perfectionist, and the woman behind By KD.

​

By KD is my umbrella brand, home to my two creative businesses — By KD Hair & Makeup and Little Moments by KD Photography. Two different industries, but both built around my love for creativity, attention to detail and making people feel special.

​

My journey started back in July 2018, when I began my career as a Bridal & Non-Bridal Hair and Makeup Artist. Fast forward to January 2023, I decided to explore another creative passion of mine and launched Little Moments by KD, specialising in Baby & Family Photography.

​

Although they're two completely different industries, both businesses have one thing in common — I love being part of people's special moments. Whether that's getting a Bride ready for one of the biggest days of her life, making someone feel beautiful and confident, or capturing those tiny little details of a newborn that parents never want to forget.

​

Behind the scenes, I'm constantly juggling two diaries, endless messages, editing galleries, makeup brushes and camera equipment — but I genuinely wouldn't have it any other way!

​

What started as a passion has grown into something I'm incredibly proud of. I'm so grateful that I get to wake up every day and do something I genuinely love, and even more grateful for all the lovely people who continue to support my journey.
